So what I'd recommend people do if they want to get the Epic Games Store version when they already have the game installed is this:ġ) Go into your Grand Theft Auto V directory and find the 'GTA5.exe' and 'PlayGTAV.exe' files.Ģ) Rename them or remove the extension etc (I just change from GTA5.exe to GTA5 social club exe) - same with the launcher fileģ) Rename the Grand Theft Auto V directory to 'GTAV'Ĥ) Open up the Epic Games launcher and choose where to install the game - this is where you realise that the EGS version kinda f*cks with things a bit with the name and directory.
